Research Focus at QCRI

Laszlo is focusing on sport analytics, i.e., quantitative analysis of sports. In particular, he is interested in designing novel methods to analyze football players, teams, and clubs.

Previous Experience

Prior to QCRI, Laszlo was an Associate Researcher at Telefonica Research in Barcelona, Spain where he was leading a joint research project with F.C. Barcelona on football analytics. Before that, he carried out research in areas such as network economics, game theoretic analysis of communication networks, online price discrimination, and online social networks.
